Tango DJ Jay, who is based in Seoul. Starting overseas DJing in Argentina, has been invited to international event’s DJing in Asia and actively works as a DJ throughout Korea.
In addition, Jay is working as an organizer with DJing at regular Milonga and event Milonga in Seoul Korea. (Milonga OPPA, JW, JJ, JT and JP milonga).

With 14 years of experience behind the DJ booth, Chanbee began her journey in Busan, Korea, and is now recognized as one of the most beloved tango DJs in the southern region of the country.
She listens attentively to the dance floor, focusing on filling each space completely with ‘Tango’.
She has been invited to DJ at major milongas and events across Asia, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China.
Chanbee previously served as a community leader of Puerto Tango, a tango group with over 20 years of history in Busan, contributing to the growth and vitality of the local tango scene.
Since 2024, she has been the organizer and host of the international tango event Busan Tango Weekend, held annually every August in Busan. She is currently preparing the 2026 edition, BTW ‘El Mar’, continuing her vision of connecting Busan with dancers from around the world.

I started my tango journey eight years ago in Changwon, Korea. In pursuit of deepening my musicality, I began taking DJ lessons, and on April 18 last year I made my debut as a tango DJ. Since then, I have performed at more than 40 events across major regional cities in Korea, bringing dancers closer to the heart of tango through carefully curated music selections.
My musical style is rooted in the golden age of tango, honoring its timeless elegance and emotional richness. At the same time, I challenge myself to expand the boundaries of the dance floor by incorporating nuevo and contemporary orchestra sounds, creating a dynamic blend that bridges tradition with modern innovation.
Beyond DJing, I am also committed to building community. Since October, together with two co-organizers, I have been hosting Handsome Milonga once a month, offering a vibrant and welcoming space for dancers and music lovers.
Looking ahead, I am preparing for my debut in Shanghai, an exciting milestone that will allow me to share my passion for tango music with a broader international audience. Although I am still a relatively new DJ, my dream is to become an artist who plays a wide range of music that everyone can enjoy, creating inclusive and memorable experiences on the dance floor.

我的探戈旅程始於八年前的韓國昌原。為了深化對音樂性的理解，我開始學習探戈 DJ，並於去年 4 月 18 日正式出道。自那時起，我已在韓國各大主要城市受邀演出超過 40 場活動，透過精心編排的曲目，帶領舞者們更深入地感受探戈的核心靈魂。
我的音樂風格紮根於探戈的「黃金時代」，致力於傳承其永恆的優雅與情感深度。同時，我也持續挑戰自我，將 Nuevo 與當代樂團（Contemporary Orchestra）的曲風融入其中，以動態的融合手法，在傳統與現代創新之間架起橋樑。
除了 DJ 的身分，我也致力於推廣探戈社群。自去年 10 月起，我與兩位共同主辦人合作，每月定期舉辦「Handsome Milonga」，為舞者與音樂愛好者們提供一個充滿活力且溫馨的交流空間。
展望未來，我正準備迎接在上海的出道演出；這對我而言是一個令人興奮的里程碑，讓我有機會將對探戈音樂的熱情分享給更廣大的國際聽眾。儘管作為 DJ 的資歷尚淺，但我的夢想是成為一名能駕馭多樣音樂類型的藝術家，讓每個人都能樂在其中，並在舞池中創造出包容且難忘的體驗。
