For Argentinas, tango has become a way of life style. Going to dance is not for showing off your skills and play complex steps, but embrace your partner, feel the music, share the emotions that music brings to each other, and enjoy the warm and beautiful time under this period of dancing.

Argentinas believe that tango is not about showing dancing ability but interpreting emotions.

Dancers attach importance to the absorption of music, the expression of emotions, and the communication with dance partners, which are the most distinctive features of Argentina tango.

Tango comes from Argentina ,belongs to all those who love it.

6. What is the difference between Argentine Tango and Ballroom Tango?

Argentine Tango is the real origin of tango, and Ballroom Tango is another dance form that evolved after it spread to Europe.

First, compare the difference between the two in the way of dancing.

The biggest difference between Argentine tango and Ballroom tango is the shape and feeling of the "embrace". A frame in which the upper body of the Ballroom dancer leans back and the lower body hips are in contact. Argentina Tango is the opposite; the dancers' chests are closer to each other than their hips. In the close embrace, the chest of the leader and the follower can be completely close, and the faces can also be touched or brought closer. In the open embrace, adjust according to the space needed by each other. Both types of embraces emphasize relaxation and flexibility, and the dancers also communicate through embrace, but each dancer stands on his own axis and does not lean back and away from the other.

Another difference is that when the follower is on the left foot, the leader is also free to step on the left foot. Compared with the parallel system (parallel/even) of the general pas de deux, this move belongs to the non-parallel (or crossed) system (crossed/uneven). The flexible hug allows the leader to change the center of gravity without changing the center of gravity of the follower. Compared to the Ballroom tango, two people have to change their center of gravity at the same time, which is another major difference.

In terms of partners and types, Argentine Tango dance party- "Milonga" has its special cultural development and strict dance etiquette. During the dance, the dancers pay attention to the invitation with the method of "eyes + nodding", and move forward on the dance floor in a counterclockwise direction. The music is divided into three types: tango, milonga, and waltz. Interspersed with curtain music, played regularly. Usually there is no fixed dance partner, and they can be freely invited at the dance. However, some dancers also choose to participate in the event as a fixed partner.

The international Ballroom  dance is a standard-style social dance. It was integrated by the courts of various countries, folk dances and other social dances. In the 19th century, the Royal Dance Teachers Association of the United Kingdom formulated various standards, and gradually became a competitive "sports dance" and was included in the Olympic Games. It can be divided into two categories: standard dance (modern dance) and Latin dance. The Ballroom tango belongs to the category of modern dance. Because they are all competitions or performances, dancers need to express a kind of overall beauty, and they are very particular about clothing and styling, often presented in gorgeous dresses and makeup. Emphasize the tacit understanding between the dance partners and the overall performance of the two. Accurately matching the music, showing the rhythm, and stretching the graceful body lines, the performance full of soul tension can more resonate and move the audience.

For the purpose of dancing, Argentine tango is a social dance, Ballroom tango is a competitive dance.

Both are popular and loved all over the world today, and have developed their own different cultures and education, competitions, and various international exchange activities.
